Examples of the climate crisis are everywhere. In coastal Virginia, the climate crisis is resulting in unprecedented flooding. The March 15, 2023, Friday Power Lunch will focus on rising water levels and what activists, organizations and local governments can and are doing about it. She will talk about their successes turning corporate giants who are normally at odds with environmental issues into allies.

Andria McClellan (Norfolk City Councilwoman) will talk about how the climate crisis is impacting coastal Virginia and what we can do about it.

Missy Cotter Smasal (Chesapeake Bay Commission Virginia Citizen Representative and Virginia Congressional Candidate in CD2) will talk about the climate issues facing her Virginia, her district and how she plans to address it as a candidate for Congress.
