Tri-Caucus Forum: Attorney General
Communities of color make up 40% of the Commonwealth of Virginia, but our communities have not had the opportunity to have their questions and voices heard by the Democratic candidates for statewide office. With this in mind, the Democratic Latino Organization of Virginia (DLOV), Democratic Asian Americans of Virginia (DAAV), and the Democratic Black Caucus of Virginia (DBCV), collectively known as the Tri-Caucus, invite you to our joint forum for the candidates seeking the Democratic nomination for Attorney General.

Democratic Asian Americans of Virginia The purpose of the DAAV is to promote the interest of Asian Americans in support of the Democratic Party and encourage participation of Asian Americans at all levels of the Democratic Party. We do voter registration & education, community outreach, recruitment of members of local Democratic committees, fundraising, and endorsements.

Democratic Black Caucus of Virginia The DBCV mission is to educate members of our communities about the value of the Democratic Party to improving our way of life. And to educate the members and leadership of the Democratic Party of Virginia and advocate for legislation that addresses the needs of our community. The DBCV consists of members from all corners of the commonwealth and various economic strata. Our members are committed to advancing Democratic values, increasing the number of Blacks and Democrats elected from the local grassroots level to the General Assembly, to Congress and to the White House. |
Latino Organization of Virginia The mission of the DLOV is to increase the number of active Latino/Hispanic members in the Democratic Party and to foster member participation at all levels of the Democratic Party. Our goals are to unify and empower Latino/Hispanic communities; ensure fair representation of the Latino/Hispanic interests; educate others on policy issues of importance to our community, and promote political participation. |
