In memory of Timothy Johnson, an unarmed Black man killed by Fairfax County police officers, the Johnson family, state representatives, advocacy organizations, and faith leaders will be rallying support for justice. The justice rally and press event will be held on Tuesday, May 2nd at the Fairfax County Courthouse by the flag poles, with programming beginning at 3:00 p.m. EST. 

Speakers include:

  • The Family of Timothy Johnson; 
  • Delegate Don Scott, Minority Leader, Virginia House of Delegates;
  • Senator Lamont Bagby, Chair, Virginia Legislative Black Caucus;
  • Delegate Holly Seibold, Representative, 35th House District;
  • Pastor Vernon Walton, Senior Pastor, First Baptist Church of Vienna;
  • The Fairfax County NAACP; and
  • Northern Virginia Faith Leaders
