How the Legislative Sausage Is Made On Friday, we will look at what really happens in Richmond during the General Assembly.

Delegates Sam Rasoul and Jackie Glass will explain how the process works in theory and in practice. They will also share how citizens play a vital role in this process even though it may not appear that way from the outside. And, finally, they will explain how the legislative process extends over several sessions, not just one.

Freshman Delegate Josh Thomas will share his experience with data center legislation.

Michael Pope, journalist and host of Pod Virginia, will share stories about what happens behind the scenes as issues make their way through the legislative process.
