11th Congressional District Convention

The purpose of the 11th Congressional District Convention shall be:

A. To select eight (8) delegates and one (1) alternate to the 2024 Democratic National Convention;
B. Nominate one (1) permanent member each to the permanent credentials, rules and resolutions committees to the State Democratic Convention;
C. To select a presidential elector representing the 11th Congressional District in the 2024 general presidential election;
D. To conduct such other business as may properly come before the Convention.

• Prefiling Deadline to be a District National Delegate or Alternate Candidate: Online by April 26 @ 5:00 PM (Form)
• Prefiling Deadline to be a Presidential Elector: Online by April 26 @ 5:00 PM (Form)

Virginia Democratic Convention (DPVA Call to Convention):

• 10:00 AM, June 22nd, 2024, at Greater Richmond Convention Center – Grand Ballroom, 403 North Third St, Richmond.

Democratic National Convention (DNC Call to Convention):

• Monday, August 19 through Thursday, August 22, 2024 in Chicago (DNC website).
