Join the Fairfax County Democratic Committee for a conversation with author Dr. Bandy X. Lee, noted Yale professor and psychiatrist, on what we should know about the psychology of Donald Trump. Dr. Lee is the editor of “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump,”  a collection of essays from 37 mental health experts on the current president’s threat to the nation’s public health.  An instant New York Times Best Seller, “Dangerous Case” made national news and has sparked a nationwide discussion about the mental fitness of the current president of the United States.

Dr. Lee, a specialist in violence prevention, treated many individuals of Trump’s presentation and so far has been on the mark about how dangerous he would become. She and her colleagues do not claim to diagnose the president–indeed say it is unnecessary–but see a professional duty to alert society when dangerous patterns of behavior place the public in harm’s way.
