Community Elections Organizing

Join us for a discussion of a proposed “Community Engagement” Committee is to give voice to significant communities not currently represented by FCDC as well as to encourage all FCDC Members to become ambassadors to their unique communities and engage with FCDC and other Community Leaders to further their networking, partnering and education on behalf of the Democratic Party.

Considering the well-recognized success of the Youngkin campaign with its focus on community outreach in 2021, the Fairfax County Democratic Committee can help take the lead on the local level for year-round community-driven organizing initiatives for the 2023 Legislative Elections which will be critical as we transition into the 2024 statewide presidential/senate elections and 2025 governor’s election.

The Biden-Harris campaign developed a Community Leaders program in 2020 and the Community Caucus can represent a local complement to national DNC & Biden-Harris Community Leader Programs.
