Barbara Johns Panel and Reception hosted by the Democratic Party of Virginia

Every year, the Democratic Party of Virginia hosts a celebration of the life and legacy of Barbara Johns and shine a light on the important work still being done by Democrats around the Commonwealth and nation to ensure the civil rights of all Americans.

We’ll be joined by guest P. O’Connell Pearson, author of We Are Your Children Too, and our moderator The Honorable Charniele Herring, Majority Leader of the House of Delegates.

Proceeds from the event are going to our effort to elect Democrats in every corner of our Commonwealth this year and in 2025.
