2017 Foster Teen Holiday Gift Drive

Be a holiday season hero! Put on that Santa hat! Make a difference today for a Fairfax County foster teen in need!

UPDATE: We are still accepting gift cards for teens who come in to the social services system between now and New Year’s.  If you’d like to contribute, please send a Target or Marshall’s gift card to our Headquarters.

For the past few years, FCDC members have donated holiday gifts for Fairfax County foster kids. There are hundreds of teens in the Fairfax County foster care system. This year we are upping our game to help Social Services provide gifts for a minimum 50 foster care teenagers.

Foster teens are much more likely to be in a county run group home. Sooner than later, foster teens will be facing emancipation. They’ll have to get through post-high school educations on their own. It’s so easy to provide a gift card that will help fund tablets, winter clothes, school team sports equipment, etc.

You can contact FCDC today at fcdcfostercaregivingtree@gmail.com to sponsor a Fairfax foster teen for the holidays. Or, you can stop by HQ Mon-Fri and pick a teen off the giving tree:

Fairfax, VA  22031

Deadline for gifts will be Dec.10th at the Holiday Party, so the social workers can get them to the kids in time for the holidays. Ordering online allows your gifts to be shipped straight to FCDC.

Please help FCDC show these teens that there are folks who care about them and their futures. Please make the commitment to give today.
