Fairfax County Young Democrats
The Fairfax County Young Democrats (FCYD) is a political organization that promotes civic engagement among young citizens of Fairfax County through education, leadership training, networking, and community service. We strive to increase youth participation, especially those from under-represented groups. The FCYD’s encourage our members to learn and advocate Democratic principles, in local, state and national policy and we play an active roll in electing Democratic leaders at the county, state, and national level, every year.
Let your voice be heard! Come join us! If you are 13-35 years old, you can join FCYD, by signing up online or at one of our meetings or events. Check our Facebook page for more information. Please contact one of our executive members if you have any questions:

George Mason Democrats
The George Mason Democrats are a recognized student organization on George Mason’s Fairfax campus. We are involved in national, state, and local campaigns and work to promote and aid progressive causes. The George Mason Democrats are chartered with the Young Democrats of America.
We welcome anyone to our meetings and we have no formal process to become a member. Under our bylaws, a voting member is someone who attends GMU, has a GPA of 2.0 or higher (school policy), has attended at least two meetings, and has attended one type of club activity. The best way to become a member is to stop by one of our meetings or contact us on Facebook with any questions you might have.
