2017 Elections

In November 2017, Virginians will elect a Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, and all 100 Members of the Virginia House of Delegates.  Seventeen of those 100 districts are partly or wholly within Fairfax County.

Before we get to the general election, we will be nominating our candidates.  The statewide offices are up for a primary on June 13th.  Our House of Delegates districts have also scheduled a primary as the method of nomination.  A primary will only be held in the event that more than one Democrat files as a candidate by the March 30th deadline.  If you’d like to run for office, contact us a t (703) 573-6811 or email info@fairfaxdemocrats.org for information on where and how to file.
