Absentee Voting


Heading to College? Think you’ll be away from home this November?  Please fill out an absentee ballot application form!  You must complete an application before every election you intend to vote absentee. The request must be received in your local voter registration office by 5:oo PM EST on Tuesday, November 1st, but try to mail or fax your form as soon as possible.  Click the big blue button and fill out the form online to ensure legibility. In-Person Absentee Voting – September 23rd Through November 5th

If you’re eligible to vote absentee, you may also do it in-person at the Office of Elections (Fairfax County Government Center), or at one of the eight Satellite locations until November 5th.  Visit the Fairfax County Elections Board website for more information.

In-Person Absentee Voting at the Office of Elections

  • Where: Fairfax County Government Center
    12000 Government Center Parkway, Suite 323, Fairfax, VA 22035
  • When: September 23 through October 14, 2016, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Thursdays 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays October 1st through November 5th, 9:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m.
  • NOTE: The Office of Elections will be closed on Monday, October 10, 2016 (Columbus Day)
  • October 17 through November 5, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

In-Person Absentee Voting at Satellite Locations
When:
October 17 through November 4, Monday – Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.;
Saturdays, October 1 through November 5, 2016, 9:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m.
Closed October 10 for Columbus Day
